I guess we all dream about a nice vacation. Problem is there are just too many people now days. I prefer peace and quiet.

The above has been published by 1StBooks Library and is available as a download for $5.95 or in print, a nice 5 by 8 inch bound copy for $8.95. Amazon.com has been selling a few of them and (www.authorhouse.com/Bookstore/ItemDetail.Aspx/bookid=2282 takes you straight to the book) has sold 10 in the last month so it must be pretty good. I think so but then, I'm prejudice. You can also order it from www.lulu.com/content/129557 on line printed on 6X9 white paper with front and back 100 lb cover with cover pictures front and back. It sells for $4.38 as download and $12.7 2in print.

THE BEGINNING Is the story of John Blake as a young man. He originated in the northern reaches of Russia about the end of the last Ice Age. He grows up with cave dwellers, ventures out on to the plains of Russia where he meets the dreaded Raiders, Spends centuries defending the emerging communities from the Raiders and finally moves on to China where he learns many new skills and brings them back to the emerging nations in Europe. He Lives throughout human history and far into the future. He organizes Instel when he see the Earth is running out of resources and room. Instel takes man to the stars where he can find new worlds to populate. John decides things are getting out of hand and forms Empire to control the spread of human kind. He meets and befriends the Insect race and the Huge Gray peope he calls Hippoids. At the same time the Human race is spreading across space with the Tacheon Drive, The Companies are spreading in a different direction, using the much less efficient Enfield drive system.
The Tacheon drive has a few problems though. It killed one third of man's first colony. Why? Read the book and see.

It was published by www.zenmarc.com who has since gone out of business. A number of copies have been sold. I got the idea when I was looking through an old abandoned house. Peri was about 6 months old and I thought it would make a good preasent for her.

Beverly is the resident ghost. She was killed in the house in 1855 and stayed around to welcome new guests. Babs and Page aren't exactly guests. They bought the house for back taxes and rigged it out for a Halloween party. Their invitations didn't exclude ghosts so Beverly attended, to the shock and dismey of the guests.

John Blake continues his adventures. His Ship, Explorer One and the Great Computer ONE are along on this voyage. ONE has leaned some new tricks. She can project an image and make it solid like a real person.
John meets a beautiful young widow, Vicky Malone. She owns Malone Mining and is quite rich.
One, the computer, Protects John from unwanted suitors but she meets her match in Vicky. Vicky wants John and nothing will stand in her way. They make a wonderful couple and go off to explore ancient civilizations.
The reader learns the history of Explorer One and The Great Computer as well as sitting in on Vicky's adventures into John's past as told by ONE.
The reader also learns all about the Insectoid race and the Hippoid race. The Swarm Wars and Wolfen wars.
